Electronics Production and Certification Engineer

Job Description

  1. Plan electronics production activities to improve delivery timelines while maintaining high quality and cost-effectiveness
  2. Take lead in fulfilling customer orders and deliveries
  3. Identify delivery exceptions and provide alternative solutions
  4. Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing and production control systems
  5. Plan for purchase of equipment & material required to meet the delivery schedule
  6. Field Assistance on deployment of product on site
  7. Work with vendors for material procurement and delivery
  8. Identify new suppliers and manage existing suppliers to meet the production needs
  9. Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost
  10. Maintain inventory actively
  11. Research about certification requirements and execute the procurement of the same
  12. Apply for regulatory approvals required to demonstrate products to customers
Job Requirement
  1. The candidates must have at least one degree or industry experience in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or Physics domain.
  2. Basic knowledge of electronic components is a must.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  4. Proactive nature, willingness to learn quickly and take up new challenges.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of commercial aspects of production.
  6. Good communication & coordination skills.
  7. Should be willing to travel to vendor and customer locations.
  8. Should have ability to work independently.
  9. Product certification experience is a plus.
